Description: This purple cruiser is one of 20 or so that Yahoo! commissioned and sent to people around the world. This is no ordinary bike! It has a GPS enabled camera phone mounted on the handle bars that takes a photo once a minute while in motion and uploads to Flickr. It's all powered by a solar panel & battery mounted in the back.
Eddie C's Personal Story: The bike is part of Yahoo!'s Purple Pedal Project which started in 2008. I haven't given the bike as much pedal time as it deserves, so maybe you'd like to? You'll be able to look up your trip on a Flickr map after your journey.
