Description: I consider putting this on NeighborGoods as a step toward restoring my waffle karma. I borrowed a brand new iron a few years ago from a friend, and it made exactly two waffles before dying on me. My friend wouldn't let me make restitution, so I'm offering my waffle iron to the Internet instead.
I am in possession of two waffle irons. One is electric and a little sketchy, the other is a bombproof cast iron with two halves that's used on the stove. It makes killer Belgian waffles. I'd recommend borrowing that one, but you're welcome to either.

Do-it-Yourself's Personal Story: The cast iron is easy to clean, non electric, disassembles in one step to handwash (but without soap, to keep the seasoning in the cast iron).
It sounds like a pain, but it's as easy to use as an electric, and it makes better waffles. You do the math.
